Ibrahim Mahama funds Kofi Adoma’s treatment

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Engineers & Planners Ltd and Dzata Cement, Ibrahim Mahama, has come to the aid of journalist Kofi Adomah, funding his eye surgery in Dubai.

This heartwarming act of kindness was revealed by broadcaster Nana Yaa Brefo during the Yen Nsempa Morning Show on Onua FM on January 22.

According to Nana Yaa Brefo, Ibrahim Mahama’s intervention followed a heartfelt conversation between them, during which she shared Kofi Adomah’s predicament, Mahama assured her of his support, instructing that immediate arrangements be made for the surgery in Dubai.

“This is why God continues to bless him. Ibrahim Mahama, God bless him. He told me, ‘Yaa, do not worry. Tell them to move to Dubai today,” she said, recounting his response.

Nana Yaa Brefo recounted the harrowing challenges Kofi Adomah has faced since being shot in the eye. During a visit to his home, she witnessed the emotional toll the ordeal has taken on him.

“Somebody who had two eyes and was working, and suddenly things changed. Now, one eye is gone, and the other one was also going. The man was shivering and crying with fear, asking himself, ‘So I’m going to go blind? Is this how my story ends?’” she said.

She described Kofi Adomah’s struggles as heartbreaking, highlighting the urgent need for the intervention that Ibrahim Mahama provided.

Expressing immense gratitude, Nana Yaa Brefo lauded Ibrahim Mahama’s timely support, emphasizing how significant his generosity has been.

“I will continue to bless the man Ibrahim Mahama. God bless him,” she declared passionately.

She also touched on Ibrahim Mahama’s potential for leadership, stating, “If one day, Ghanaians believe, and he himself thinks he can stand for the presidency in this country, I, Nana Yaa Brefo, with my full chest, will support him.”

Ibrahim Mahama’s generosity follows his recent aid to a 13-year-old girl, Rosemond Boadu, who had a kidney problem and needed $25,000 for her surgery, of which Mr Mahama intervened and paid the money to enable her to undergo a kidney transplant.
