The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman for Mpohor Constituency, Razak Dadzie, has thrown his full support behind Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, describing him as the only candidate capable of leading the party to victory in the 2028 general elections.
Speaking during Dr. Bawumia’s campaign tour of the Mpohor Constituency, Chairman Dadzie urged delegates not to make the “mistake” of choosing any other flagbearer aspirant. He stressed that Dr. Bawumia had already been marketed to the Ghanaian public and remained the most viable candidate to secure the party’s hold on power.
“He has already been marketed, and now is the time for us to repeat our history of standing firmly behind our proven candidates. We must continue to support Dr. Bawumia,” Chairman Dadzie declared.
He assured Dr. Bawumia of the unwavering support of delegates in Mpohor, promising to deliver a significant majority of votes from the constituency.
“For Mpohor, we promise 80 percent of our votes for Dr. Bawumia. We believe he is the only one who can lead us to victory in 2028,” he emphasized.
The Mpohor NPP Chairman reiterated that the constituency would not risk presenting a new candidate when Dr. Bawumia had already gained nationwide recognition and support.
“We will continue to stand by and promote the candidate we have worked so hard to market. He is number three on the ballot paper, and for Mpohor, our choice is clear,” he added.
Chairman Dadzie’s endorsement adds to a growing list of party executives across various constituencies publicly declaring their support for Dr. Bawumia as the NPP intensifies its internal campaign activities ahead of the flagbearer election.
