Delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Kintampo South constituency have declared their determination to deliver an even stronger endorsement for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the party’s 2026 presidential primaries.
During the former Vice President’s “Our Journey Together” tour of the Bono East Region, the delegates reaffirmed their confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s leadership, describing him as the best candidate to lead the NPP to victory in the 2028 general elections.
The delegates indicated that Dr. Bawumia’s 77 percent victory in the 2023 primaries would serve as a benchmark to surpass, citing his humility, truthfulness, and commitment to national transformation as reasons for their renewed support.
“In the 2023 primaries, Dr. Bawumia secured 77% of the votes. Let’s push that even higher in 2026. Why change what’s working? Let’s vote massively for him,” one delegate said.
Another delegate praised Dr. Bawumia’s character, saying, “He is respectful and honest. These are qualities we need to lead our country forward. He has our full support.”
Now in its third day, Dr. Bawumia’s tour of the Bono East Region continues to draw large support from party members and delegates as he shares his vision for inclusive development and national unity ahead of the primaries.
