The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary candidate for Obuasi East in the Ashanti Region has been declared winner of the parliamentarL
The incumbent, Dr. Patrick Boakye Yiadom was declared winner after he polled 18,558 of the valid votes cast.
National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary candidate, Samuel Aboagye also polled 18,539 votes.
The results were announced after re-collation of the votes at the EC’s office in Accra.
