The head of religious broadcasts at the Multimedia Group, Rev Yaw Owusu-Ansah has exposed a big man of God in the country for propagating negative propaganda against the Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
During a live broadcast of his morning devotion show on Adom FM, Adom Ahengua, the celebrated Pastor at the Resurrection Power and Living Bread Ministries, said the ‘big man of God’ posted a flyer on a Pastors Whatsapp group calling on his colleagues to preach against the election of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
The reason, Rev Owusu-Ansah said, is that the man of God claims he cannot stand the sight of a Muslim leading a Christian-dominated country like Ghana.
The unnamed Pastor is said to have encouraged his colleague Pastors on the Whatsapp platform to start preaching against Dr Bawumia to their congregation and demand that they vote against him in the December 7th polls.
The charge of the big man of God, the Reverend Minister continued did not sit well with most of the Pastors on the platform and hence schooled him on why he ought to desist from that.
Rev Owusu-Ansah who obviously was part of the group that was against the flyer and call by the unnamed man of God urged him to ‘bow his head down in shame.’
He said time has taught him to be circumspect in whatever he preaches on radio because his audience is not only Christians but persons from all walks of life.
