The former National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NDC), Sammy Awuku has described the 2024 elections in Ghana as a choice between the country’s future and its gloomy past.
According to him, the NPP’s candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia represents the future since his policies are ones that seek to help Ghanaians attain a better future while the candidate of the main opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) represents that gloomy past of the country.
He mentioned digitisation as one of the main policies of the Dr Bawumia administration which will catapult Ghana into a better future.
“This election is not just any elections, it is one which represents the future of this country and the gloomy past and obviously Dr Bawumia represents the future and hope of Ghana…,” he said.
He further said that Dr Bawumia is the only candidate who has the ability to continue the good works of the Akufo-Addo administration.
To NLA Director, it is simply bad to vote someone based on religious affiliation and rather think about the future of Ghana and has the power to complete the numerous hospitals, schools, roads and others which have been initiated by the Akufo-Addo government.
